Mário Viegas, born in Lisbon in 1948, is recognized for his deep dedication to the performing arts. His versatility is evident in the diversity of roles he has played, from theatre to cinema.

Mário Viegas left us an important legacy: a 250-page book, written by his hand, which he titled Auto-photo Biography (unauthorized), and which makes us known through photos, newspaper clippings and even comics, his entire life, his thoughts, his loves, his sadness, basically everything that transformed him into the greatest actor who dazzled us so much.

This edition, which celebrates and pays homage to the 75th anniversary of his birth, is a large format hardcover book, with a sound complement of 4 CDs, two of which are composed of recordings, completely unreleased, made in his home, two of which were recorded by his father when he was just nine years old. The other two CDs reveal a café-concert held in January 1986 at the Rez do Chão space, in Porto, during a weekend, with equally unreleased recordings.
