L’AND Vineyards hosts “Dinner in the Vineyard”, a wine event with producer Van Zellers & Co.

Some moments are never repeated — and there are places made to welcome them. In the Alentejo, in the middle of the vineyard and under the open sky, L’AND Vineyards invites you to another unforgettable evening of wine tourism, where the senses guide the experience.
Continuing the wine tourism events it has been organising, the Montemor-o-Novo resort once again stands out with “Dinner in the Vineyard”. It will take place next Saturday, July 5, and will feature the presence of the Douro producer Van Zellers & Co., in an event that celebrates wine, gastronomy and the Alentejo landscape.
Open to the public by reservation, the dinner offers a complete sensory experience, where contemporary elegance meets the authenticity of the terroir. The four-course menu created by resident chef David Jesus will be paired with five wines selected by the guest producer. Francisca Vanzeller herself will be present to lead an informal conversation about the brand’s history and the particularities of the wines presented.
The program begins at 6:00 p.m., with a reception at the vineyard, sparkling wine and a display of the artisanal hat brand MARAUS, co-founded by Francisca Vanzeller. The outdoor dinner will begin at 7:30 p.m. Starting at 9:30 p.m., the event will continue on the Deck do Lago with the “Puros & Porto” initiative — a guided cigar tasting in partnership with the distributor Villiger — and, in parallel, a stargazing session with astronomer Vítor Quinta, from the Alqueva Observatory.
Full program:
• 6:00 p.m. – Welcome to the vineyard with sparkling wine and a display of MARAUS hats
• 7:30 p.m. – Four-course dinner with wine pairing (5 Van Zellers & Co. wines)
• 9:30 p.m. – “Puros & Porto” on the Lake Deck and stargazing
