For those unfamiliar with the game, it’s set on a post-apocalyptic Earth after a cataclysmic event has halted the planet’s rotation, leaving a world of ice and desert in its wake. One habitable strip of land sits in between these two harsh environments, slowly moving as the planet rotates around the sun.
The next big addition to Last Oasis is a new map with a volcanic oasis. From cold and barren fields to hardened volcanic rock formations creating natural passages and scorching-hot lava lakes, this is a tough landscape for any nomad with no shoes.
The game combines truly innovative features that allow players to traverse the world on impressive and complex wooden machines called walkers, which are essential to nomad travel and migration. Combined with epic battles and a player-driven economy to leave your stamp on, Last Oasis is quickly shaping up to be the most interesting survival title we’ve seen in years.
