The sertanejo singer, who is one of the leading names in Brazil, will perform in Portugal in March 2025.
Lauana Prado, the phenomenon of sertanejo music, who has been consolidating herself as one of the biggest artists in Brazil, has 17 years of career and a repertoire of songs that move crowds wherever she goes. Now it’s time for Portugal to get to know one of the main Brazilian voices of the present day. The singer announces her first international tour with shows on March 8 in Porto and on March 9 in Lisbon, 2025.
In Portugal, the artist presents “Transcende,” which premiered in São Paulo with sold-out shows throughout August. The repertoire features songs from the project “Lauana Prado — Transcende Ao Vivo no Ibirapuera,” which is considered one of the largest audiovisual works of the artist’s career, receiving over 8,000 people at its recording and featuring special appearances from major names in Brazilian music, such as Zé Neto and Cristiano, Simone Mendes, Nando Reis, and the duo Cristinas.
“I’m so happy! It’s been a while since fans have been asking for shows in Portugal and other countries as well, receiving their affection on social media is already special… I’m excited for us to meet in person and live this great dream together. This is my first international tour, and it’s undoubtedly a very important moment for me. The ‘Transcende’ is a new project that has already conquered Brazil, and now, Europe too,” says Lauana.
Fans in Portugal can prepare to sing and dance to the great hits of the artist’s career, such as “Sombra Desconhecida,” feat with Zé Neto and Cristiano which reached the Top 50 Spotify Brazil, “Vou Aonde Tiver,” “Depois,” and “Bar de Bairro,” which is currently in the TOP 100 Spotify Brazil, tracks from the new project “Lauana Prado — Transcende Ao Vivo no Ibirapuera,” as well as other major hits like “Cobaia,” “Whisky Vagabundo,” “Haverá Sinais,” a song with the duo Jorge and Mateus, which reached TOP 1 on Spotify Brazil, and reissues of great classics of sertanejo music. The sertanejo version of “Escrito nas Estrelas” became one of the biggest hits of recent times, standing out in the TOP Spotify Global and was the most played song in Brazil on radios and streaming platforms in the first half of 2024.
“I have over 17 years in the business, it’s a long story built with a lot of work and love for sertanejo music. Little by little, by showing my work with authenticity, I felt that I am winning over the audience and the respect outside of Brazil. This is too special!” emphasizes the singer.
In recent days, Lauana Prado was nominated for the Latin Grammy 2024 for the fourth consecutive time with her project “Raiz Goiânia” in the category “Best Sertanejo Music Album.”
