Leigh-Anne’s career began with the success of girl band Little Mix, the first group to win the television talent show “X Factor”. This was one of the best-selling girl groups of all time, with over 50 million records sold worldwide. However, as a woman of African descent in a predominantly white industry, Leigh-Anne faced significant challenges. In 2020, inspired by the Black Lives Matter movement, the artist spoke publicly about her experiences of feeling invisible and marginalized, receiving overwhelming support from fans.

Her memoir “Believe,” written with author Natalie Morris, will be published later this year and offers a deeper look into her personal and professional journey.

“The Palco Galp line-up is finally complete! With Leigh-Anne composing this incredible selection of artists, we guarantee a day full of excitement and joy”, says Roberta Medina, Executive Vice-President of Rock in Rio. “It will be an unforgettable journey where everyone will be able to sing, jump and cheer, especially with our national team playing that day. Get ready for a spectacle that will lift everyone’s spirits and unite everyone in a unique celebration.”
