Lemos, with Piano for Meditation, proposes a sound measured journey
São Luiz Municipal Theater in April
The Portuguese musician and composer performs on April 26, at the Sala Mário Viegas of the Teatro Municipal São Luiz, in Lisbon, and brings with him “Piano para Meditação”, a set of sound pieces designed for meditation. It will be an opportunity to experience an intimate and immersive concert, on a full sound journey.
The piano is not only one of the most complete instruments that exist, it is also one of the most universal, an instrument that cuts across cultures and musical genres because it communicates very effectively and because it is in fact capable of transporting the imagination of those who play it. listen to other plans.
Piano for Meditation uses the piano in this full way, as an instrument capable of projecting unique soundscapes. Lemos explains that his music expresses a very particular type of vibration that is established between the Cosmos and the Earth, with him being a kind of conductor between these two dimensions. In this show, the pianist will perform music that he composed to induce meditative states in his listeners, music capable of immersing the audience in a parallel plane of deep harmony.
In addition to these pieces carefully designed for meditation, in this recital, the pianist will also revisit other important pieces from his already considerable repertoire. Sense of Peace, his debut album, topped the sales charts on iTunes Portugal and helped to gain more than 400 thousand monthly listeners on Spotify, a remarkable brand that says so much about the reach of his music and that positions him as the Portuguese neoclassical pianist with more listeners on this platform.
Live on APRIL 26th, at 7:30 pm, at Teatro Municipal São Luiz, in Lisbon
