Lewis Capaldi confirmed at MEO Sudoeste
The dates from 3 to 7 August 2021 are already saved in the agenda, with the opening of the camping scheduled for July 31. The proposal is simple and winning: friends, sun, warmth and the best music of the moment.
After the (re)confirmation, also a winner, of blackbear, the poster continues to have space to receive other great names in music. And the best example of this is the new confirmation: Lewis Capaldi, performs on August 4, on the MEO Stage.
Lewis Capaldi is one of the biggest musical phenomena of the past two years, capturing fans all over the world. The Glasgow musician started to shake the music market in 2017, when he edited the debut single “Bruises“, a theme that explored the end of a relationship in a taciturn and, at the same time, poignant tone, showing Lewis‘s distinctive voice, with a rare ability to thrill those who hear it.
The first half of 2018 was spent capitalizing on this meteoric rise: Lewis toured the United States and much of Europe to give concerts. And the following months brought two more singles with this ability to play crowds: “Rush“, with Jessie Reyez, and “Tough“.
“Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent” came out in 2019 and soon went on to number one, both in the UK and Ireland, being the best-selling album of that year in both countries.
The single “Someone You Loved” also jumped to the top of the UK singles chart, staying there for seven consecutive weeks – it was also first in the United States, Canada, Scotland, Malaysia, the Czech Republic, among other countries.
“Someone You Loved” has more than 300 million views on YouTube and is certainly one of the themes that promises to win the public of MEO Sudoeste, on August 4, on the MEO Stage, in a premiere not to be missed!
