ABOUT LEWIS CAPALDI:
Lewis Capaldi is a Scottish singer-songwriter who has become one of the most recognisable voices in contemporary music. Since the release of his debut single, “Bruises,” in 2017, the artist has won over audiences and critics alike with the honesty of his lyrics and the emotional intensity of his voice.
Following a critically acclaimed comeback after nearly two years away from the stage, and the recent success of “Something In The Heavens,” her tenth UK Top 10 single, “Almost” emerges as a raw and intimate exploration of what it means to move on—or at least try to. Honest and restrained, the song captures the struggle of letting go. “I swear to God I’m almost alright, I only think about you all the time,” Lewis confesses, once again demonstrating her extraordinary ability to find truth and emotion in the subtlest details.
The track arrives after his remarkable performance on BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge and an iconic appearance on The Graham Norton Show alongside Taylor Swift, where he once again captivated audiences with his characteristic humour and talent for writing heartbreaking songs.
The highly anticipated EP “Survive,” released on November 14th, brings together three of the monumental tracks already revealed since his return — “Survive,” “Something In The Heavens,” and “Almost” — along with “The Day That I Die,” a track that moved fans to tears on his recent tour and promises to be his most personal and intense song to date.
After selling out a UK arena tour with 200,000 tickets sold, in partnership with Android, Lewis announced his biggest UK and Ireland shows ever for next summer, with new dates added due to exceptional demand. There will be twelve large outdoor shows, including two nights at American Express presents BST Hyde Park in London on July 11th and 12th. Lewis Capaldi’s return has already propelled him back to the top of the charts, securing his sixth number one single with “Survive,” making it the fastest-selling single of 2025. The song also recorded the biggest debut week of his career, surpassing Sabrina Carpenter and Lady Gaga, joining a group of names like Beyoncé, Britney Spears, Drake, Lady Gaga, and Queen—all with six number one singles in the UK. He also has 10 Top 10 singles and performed “Survive” in special appearances on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and Good Morning America.
At Glastonbury’s legendary Pyramid Stage, a veritable crowd of headliners embraced his return—one of the year’s cultural highlights—in a half-hour show packed with hits, where his powerful voice guided the audience through classics, the live debut of “Survive,” and a unifying performance of “Someone You Loved.”
His latest album, “Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent”, secured him his second number 1 album in the UK, with three number 1 singles — “Pointless”, “Wish You The Best” and the Platinum-certified “Forget Me” — created with names like Max Martin (Taylor Swift, The Weeknd), Malay (Lorde, Frank Ocean) and longtime collaborator Phil Plested (James Bay, Bastille). The album received widespread acclaim from publications such as The Guardian, New York Times, NME, Rolling Stone, GQ and Stereogum, and topped the airplay charts, surpassing the combined sales of the Top 10 that week, as well as the debut week of his debut album “Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent”.
In April 2023, the GRAMMY®-nominated documentary, “Lewis Capaldi: How I’m Feeling Now,” a candid and moving portrait of the artist, premiered globally on Netflix, quickly reaching the top of the platform’s rankings and becoming the most-watched film since its release.
Lewis’s continued success dates back to his debut album, “Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent,” which catapulted him from bedroom musician to global phenomenon. The album became the best-selling album in the UK in 2019 and 2020, spawned two number-one singles, and earned him BRIT Awards and a GRAMMY® nomination. Among them, “Someone You Loved”—recently certified 10x Platinum—is the most-streamed song of all time in the UK and the fourth most-streamed song of all time worldwide.
After enduring a particularly challenging period, Lewis Capaldi’s return has given him a renewed sense of purpose, proving that even in the darkest moments, there is strength to persevere. As he begins a new chapter, Lewis returns even stronger, with an open heart and ready to make history again.
