The Alter-Mobility event is scheduled for July 21st. A debate will take place at the Almeida Garrett Library (Gardens of the Crystal Palace, Porto) and will address new trends and their integration into everyday life.
This is not Lexus’ first association with the Porto Design Biennale and will certainly not be its only link to the art world. In Portugal, as in the rest of the world, Lexus believes in the power of art to change lives. The relationship between them is ever closer and proof of this are the multiple events promoted by the brand, with a direct connection to art and design.
The international Lexus Design Award and the Intersect by Lexus spaces are two of the greatest examples of this relationship, both of which are references on a global scale. One-off initiatives of great success such as the campaign “The art of standing out” for the NX model, or the unforgettable pop up gallery UX Art Space, a pioneering initiative by Lexus that marked the presentation of UX in Europe, and which had as a stage the city of Lisbon are other excellent examples of this connection.
Until July 25th in Porto and Matosinhos, Porto Design Biennale has the “Alter” concept as its guiding principle. The idea is to promote Design as a common language of reflection, ask questions and share alternatives, promote ethical and informed options for a better future.
