This project is led by Paulo Jacob and composed of Andreia Matos, Dora Martins, Fátima Pinho, Hélia Maia, Jorge Arromba, José Morgado, Luís Capela, Mariana Brás, Pedro Falcão and Sérgio Felício, who use sensors to trigger samples, giving life to a thrilling sonic epic.

As part of the Nascentes festival, in the village of Fontes, Ligados às Máquinas were challenged to create an original composition, using samples kindly provided by several national artists, which gave rise to a sound archive that enhanced new compositions made by many hands, voices and hearts. The group’s creative process stands out for the use, adaptation and creation of hardware and software solutions that allow members – musicians with neuromotor alterations – to have control and autonomy to trigger samples in real-time on adapted devices. This creation gave rise to the album Amor Dimensional, a vibrant testament to artistic collaboration and creative participation.

Dimensional Love explores themes of connection, longing, and meaning in the contemporary world. With striking compositions, the album is a testament to the creativity and resilience of a band that transforms barriers into art.

There are nine original themes, which depict a day in the life of each person: from dawn to waking up, from procrastination to tension, from the obligation to limited freedom of choice, from comfortable melancholy to a cosy meal and a well-deserved rest (enriched by the possibility of dreaming).

Continuing this philosophy of collective creation, it is with enthusiasm that we announce the release of the video for the single “Acordar p’ra Vida”. This video features visual contributions from several artists, including Amaya Sumpsi, Casota Collective, Carincur, Gonçalo Viana, João Pedro Fonseca, Lua Carreira and Raquel Castro, who provided images to create the visual narrative.

At the same time, we also celebrate the release of the album in physical format, now available on vinyl. Amor Dimensional is a testament to the collaborative spirit that defines this unique project.
