It was with a full house that LAV welcomed Linda Martini, in a memorable concert that presented the album Passa-Montanhas, released in January, the first album with Rui Carvalho.
Passa-Montanhas is the seventh LP of the band, the first with Rui Carvalho (“Filho da Mãe”), in which Linda Martini continues to surprise the many fans who have followed them for 20 years, with fantastic and memorable concerts.
The band, during the presentation of the show, said about the new work that “Serra is the name of the space where, over a week, we tried to build the songs of “Passa Montanhas”. This tape documents the writing sessions and reveals a side we usually hide. What you hear here are raw ideas — a rush that sometimes sounds coherent and, seconds later, can turn into indecipherable babble.”
Songs such as “Uma Banda,” “Faz-se de Luz,” and “A Cantiga É” were featured in this fantastic, energetic concert. Fans and friends joined in from the first chord, dancing and singing with the band. Of course, the best-known themes were also present in the LAV show line-up.
