LisBoa Age joins small and big in Benfica this weekend

LisBoa Age Festival takes place this weekend of October 13 and 14 in the Quinta da Granja Garden.

The Quinta da Granja Garden in Benfica, next to the Colombo shopping center, will host an event organized by the local council, made up of the whole family.

The program is varied, considering small and large, with workshops and free performances to discover.

In a statement, the organization said the event, besides entertaining, aims to promote healthy living habits, intergenerational interaction, music, culture, gastronomy and the debate of ideas and new projects for the city and families.

The first day of the festival (October 13) will feature a cycling tour, in the morning, a debate with bloggers, the music of the ‘New Voices of April’ and the concert that marks the start of the school year with hip -hop by Jimmy P.

Sunday, the second day of the festival (October 14), begins with a walk along the path of Benfica Footsteps, followed by a family picnic, which will feature lively performances by a fanfare and local folklore groups. At the end of the afternoon, Bárbara Bandeira, one of the new names to appear in the national music, goes up to the stage, following the concert of Áurea.

During the two days of the event there will also be workshops and gastronomic presentations, as well as a space for dissemination of the municipal services and Town Councils available to citizens, with a zone of presentations, lectures and ideas debate.
