Lisboa Connection Fest announces free admission for the 5th edition
The festival takes place on October 6 at Palácio Baldaya, in Benfica, with a new schedule
The organization of Lisboa Connection Fest announced that the 5th edition of the event, scheduled for October 6 at Palácio Baldaya in Benfica, will have free admission.
The decision resulted from a partnership between Luckyman Music and the Junta de Freguesia de Benfica, which chose to offer the festival to the community, reinforcing the commitment to culture and accessibility.
The festival, which has become a reference in the Lisbon music scene by promoting folk, indie, and blues, returns to the iconic Palácio Baldaya, a space that combines history and culture, to provide a close musical experience between artists and the audience. The event, which emphasizes generational and artistic diversity, will feature an exclusively national lineup, highlighting both emerging talents and established names. Musician Tim, vocalist and bassist of Xutos & Pontapés will be the main highlight of this edition.
The organization also revealed an update on the program schedule:
18:45 – Tim (Bairro da Música Stage)
18:00 – Gringo’s Washboard Band (+Benfica Stage)
17:00 – Kiko & The Blues Refugees (Bairro da Música Stage)
16:15 – Ivo Palitos (Connection Stage)
With curation by Pedro Galhoz and organization by Luckyman Music, Lisboa Connection Fest reaffirms itself as a small-scale event of great significance, promoting direct interaction between musicians and audiences in an intimate setting. The support from the Junta de Freguesia de Benfica underscores the local commitment to culture and universal access to music.
The festival is a unique opportunity for the public to enjoy live performances in a format that celebrates sharing and artistic creation.
