As part of the city of Lisbon’s presence at the Osaka Expo 2025, the presentation session of the Lisbon in Osaka and Osaka in Lisbon program will take place next Wednesday, March 26, at 10:30 am, at MUDE, chaired by the Mayor of Lisbon, Carlos Moedas.
The aim of Lisbon’s presence, scheduled for the period from May 1 to 5, is to enhance the city’s cultural wealth in an international context through connections with its cultural facilities but also to promote a contemporary city that values the potential capital of innovation, creativity and design.
Between the first half of May and the second half of June, a program will also be developed with a series of initiatives that celebrate not only the presence of Lisbon in Osaka but also a city that opens up to Japan and celebrates the long relationship between two cultures that, despite the distance, come together.
The Lisbon in Osaka and Osaka in Lisbon program is an initiative of the Lisbon City Council, which has the strategic partnership of EGEAC – Lisboa Cultura and the support of ATL – Lisbon Tourism Association.
