Lisboa Games Week exceeds 60 thousand visitors mark

Also got ‘lost’ in this universe of video games?

For four days, FIL was once again the stage of Lisbon Games Week, the event considered the biggest event in the video game industry. This fifth edition, which ended this Sunday, received more than 60,000 visitors, the organization said in a statement.

Those who went there had the opportunity to ‘dive’ into a sea of news presented by the great platforms and international studios, including the most awaited titles of 2018 and 2019.

The Lisbon Games Week, organized by FIL at E2Tech, is an event considered “obligatory” for the big brands of consoles and gaming, publishers and studios that operate in the national market.

It highlights the organization that this was the first year in which the three console manufacturers, Sony, Microsft and Nintendo, simultaneously bet on the event, with a net increase in the area occupied by PlayStation and triplication of space for participation from Nintendo.

This was also the year of the launch of Indie X, “the largest international showcase” of independent games held in Portugal and an exclusive Lisbon Games Week, which awarded a prize of 5 thousand euros for the best game in the competition.
