Lisbon < Another excellent show at Misty Fest by José Peixoto & Nuno Cintrão

The Bernardo Sassetti hall at the São Luiz Teatro Municipal hosted another Misty Fest concert, where guitarists and composers José Peixoto and Nuno Cintrão joined forces to pay homage to Carlos Paredes on the centenary of his birth.

Based on the complexity developed in the Combinatorium project, they brought to the Lisbon hall a concert that is not limited to evocation: it is a creative dialogue with Paredes‘ work.

Between memory and reinvention, the music is deconstructed and reconstructed with lyricism, risk, and respect. Peixoto, renowned for his classic elegance, and Cintrão, a restless and transdisciplinary creator, blend their universes to explore the timeless beauty of Paredes in a new light. A sensory journey that celebrates the essence of his music through a vibrant and contemporary interpretation.
