Lisbon hosts FestGospel to celebrate 50 years of Angolan Independence

The Coliseu dos Recreios will host, on a new date, August 30, one of the largest gospel music events in Portuguese: FestGospel, a special celebration of the 50th anniversary of Angola’s Independence.

The show brings together several leading artists of Portuguese-speaking gospel, including Nair Nani, Josafat Joss, David and Filson Matuta, Lioth Cassoma, Jesus & Salem, Bambila, Grecy Zola, Sister Catila and Sister Joly Makanda, Miguel Buila and Nsimba Roboth, in a night of emotion, spirituality and cultural communion.

More than a concert, FestGospel aims to be a moment of unity and reflection, celebrating the freedom achieved and the ties that unite Angola and Portugal through music and faith.

Scheduled to start at 8 pm, the event promises a full house and a vibrant atmosphere at the iconic Coliseu dos Recreios, in the heart of Lisbon.
