Lisbon: A super fun night with Morgan Jay
The Los Angeles-based musician and comedian came to Lisbon for a super fun night of stand-up at the Maria Matos Theatre.
Expecting two nights of fun, one ended up being cancelled due to a power outage that caused a lot of talk, but Morgan Jay returned on the second night and already had electricity, because Morgan has no shortage of energy.
With appearances on MTV’s Wild ‘N Out, NBC and Comedy Central, Morgan has created his style of performance art and comedy, developing a show based on imperfection, authenticity, relatability, shared experience and connection.
The audience is part of the stand-up show and has been in the Lisbon room, participating, singing, and even taking part in the show, with several awards and appearances at prestigious festivals, but being recognised as New Face at the Just For Laughs festival in 2023 is perhaps the highlight of his career.
With millions of followers across all his platforms, namely on TikTok and Instagram, he already has two comedy specials streaming on YouTube.
