O Sagres Campo Pequeno recebeu James Arthur para uma noite de baladas emotivas e corações acelerados, a primeira de duas noites, que hoje se repete.

James Arthur is a British singer, musician, and songwriter who gained international recognition after winning the ninth season of The X Factor UK in 2012.

His style is Pop with strong R&B and Soul influences. James is known for his emotional ballads and his husky, powerful voice, which adds an emotional intensity to his songs. James Arthur’s vulnerable and honest lyrics were known, from beginning to end, by the fans who packed the Lisbon venue, who sang along with him on a night when hearts beat faster.

He opened with “Water” and “Bitter Sweet Love,” continuing through his many hits, spanning the albums PISCES, Back From the Edge, You, and Bitter Sweet Love.

His 2016 album, Back from the Edge, debuted at #1 in the UK and went multi-platinum worldwide. Additionally, albums like James Arthur (Deluxe), YOU, and It’ll All Make Sense In The End reached the top 3 of the UK charts.

His smash hit “Say You Won’t Let Go” has amassed nearly 4 billion streams worldwide, spent 43 weeks on the UK charts, and reached number one in over 10 countries, achieving multi-platinum status globally.

Recently, the track achieved Diamond status in the US, making James Arthur one of only 100 artists to receive this certification from the RIAA in the program’s history. Even some of his older songs, like “Train Wreck” (2016) or “Car’s Outside” (2019), continue to gain new life on TikTok and Spotify.

This trip with James ended with “Happy Birthday,” “KARAOKE,” “Yeah, No.”, “Train Wreck,” and even two covers, “A Thousand Years” (Christina Perri) and “Impossible” (Shontelle). But of course, the audience wanted more, and after much applause, James returned and treated the fans to “Blindside,” “Car’s Outside,” “Lasting Lover,” and “Say You Won’t Let Go,” ending the first night in Lisbon. There’s more tonight, will you be there?

Another great night with the Everything is New signature.
