The project, which should be concluded by the end of May, will start in the parishes of Areeiro, Arroios, Beato, Penha de França, Benfica, Carnide, São Vicente and Alcântara.
It is estimated that, during the same period, 44 more intelligent oils will be installed in places, such as markets and parish councils, making a total of 204 pieces of equipment. installed.
The smart oils (Smart S+) are equipped with IoT technology – Internet of Things and will allow the citizens, through a digital application (RENO App), to access the location or the mobile phone of the nearest oil, assess in real-time the level of oil filling and account for deposits.
With the implementation of oils, Lisbon now joins RENO, which has more than 2,000 intelligent equipment in more than 80 municipalities.
