According to the same source, the next edition of the Wall takes place between 23 and 26 May “in the territory of Lumiar”, after editions in the Bairro Padre Cruz (2016) and Marvila (2017).
The festival includes live paintings, national and foreign artists, conferences, cinema, workshops, music and street entertainment.
In the context of the festival, on the walls of the Bairro Padre Cruz, works by artists such as the Spanish Aryz and Borondo, the Portuguese Pariz One, Bordalo II, Mr. Dheo, Uber, Draw, Nomen, Tamara Alves and Mário Belém, Frenchman Mathieu Trembelin and the Dutch pair Telmo and Miel.
In Marvila, there were paintings by artists such as the Portuguese Godmess, Hazul and Kruella D’Enfer, Brazilian Kobra and Spanish artist Zesar Bahamonte.
The programming and guest artists of the 3rd edition will be announced shortly.
The GAU, coordinated by the Cultural Heritage Department of the CML, was created in 2009 as part of a strategy to value artistic expression on the one hand and, on the other hand, to value a tool for managing a city’s size.
