Casino Lisboa is recognized for offering its visitors a vast program of musical entertainment. In June, Alexandre Casimiro, “Tributo 100 Anos de Samba”, Duo It and Kilôko, take to the multipurpose stage at the Arena Lounge, on Fridays from 10:45 pm. Casino Lisboa also proposes, on Saturdays, at 11:45 pm, well-known DJs that ensure the best rhythms and sounds until dawn. Entry is free.
It is already next Friday, June 3, that Alexandre Casimiro returns to Casino Lisboa. With a revivalist musical atmosphere, the musician recreates compositions from the 80’s, traveling in acoustic versions to the taste of well-known melodies. Vocalist Alexandre Brito will be accompanied by Pedro Brito on guitar and Luís Runa on keyboard.
Casino Lisboa has reserved, for the 10th of June, the “100 Years of Samba Tribute”. This group of experienced musicians pays tribute to Samba, namely its history and its composers and performers. Classics of Brazilian music will be featured. With Daniela Mendes on voice, André Marques da Silva on guitar, João Fião on percussion, these musicians recreate the best records of Noel Rosa, Cartola, Dona Ivone Lara or Martinho da Vila, among many others.
Duo It will perform on the 17th of June at Casino Lisboa. It is a project that brings together dance, funk, pop, rock and roll, blues and disco in a defined, coherent, attractive and danceable musical line for those who play and for those who listen. André Reis (drums and vocals) and Luís Fernandes (keyboards) invite the audience to travel back in time, recalling compositions that marked different eras.
Kilôko will be in the spotlight on June 24th. Vocalist Mick Mengucci takes the multipurpose stage accompanied by Luis Bastos on clarinet, and Ian Carlo Mendoza on drums. This trio transmits a contagious energy to the public, presenting an extensive repertoire with their own interpretations of compositions by prestigious artists.
