Lola Young announces new album, “I’m Only F**king Myself”

available on September 19th

British artist debuts in Portugal this summer, on August 14th, at the Vodafone Paredes de Coura festival.

Lola Young from London has announced her new album, I’m Only F**king Myself, which will be released on September 19th. Along with the announcement, Lola has just revealed the latest single “Not Like That Anymore” – an anthem of revolt made to scream to the world.

This will certainly be one of the songs that Lola Young performs on August 14th at the Vodafone Paredes de Coura festival, a concert that marks the artist’s debut on the Portuguese stage.

Lola Young’s third album synthesises her emotional and musical growth. It is a vibrant and moving work, which delves into the dark and the raw, but always counterbalanced by Lola’s uncompromising attitude, which is not afraid to expose exactly what she feels. Co-written and produced with her regular collaborators Manuka and SOLOMONOPHONIC (Doja Cat, SZA), I’m Only F**king Myself explores topics such as self-sabotage and using addictions (sex, drugs) as an escape – something that can quickly turn into nihilism. The album includes the recent single “One Thing”, which has already racked up millions of streams and continues to climb the UK singles chart.

Lola Young

Lola, who won the Rising Star award at this year’s Ivor Novello Awards (following a nomination for Best Pop Artist at the BRIT Awards), has collaborated with Tyler, The Creator (“Like Him”) and Lil Yachty (“Charlie”), cementing her global impact through both her music and her captivating personality. Following her Coachella debut earlier this year, she opened for Billie Eilish in Paris on her “Hit Me Hard and Soft” tour, and is now preparing a series of European festival appearances this summer, including Portugal’s Vodafone Paredes de Coura.

With over a billion global streams to her name, Lola Young continues to achieve impressive success. Her platinum-selling single “Messy” (taken from her critically acclaimed 2024 album This Wasn’t Meant For You Anyway) topped the UK Singles Chart for four consecutive weeks, making Lola one of only two British artists to reach number one last year. In Portugal, the song is certified triple platinum and reached number one on the national airplay chart.

Considered one of the UK’s most iconic voices, Lola Young proves with I’m Only F**king Myself that she is poised to become the voice of her generation.
