It’s on Friday, October 20th, that musician Loony Johnson takes the stage at the Coliseu dos Recreios, in Lisbon, for what will be his big concert to present his fourth album.
Tickets for this night, which promises to be “celebratory” and “tribute to African culture, in particular Cape Verdean”, are about to sell out!
Three days before the big day, there are already a few tickets available to attend the presentation of the album “Mocinho“, in Portugal. This is the fourth album by the Cape Verdean musician and will bring, on Friday, to the Coliseu dos Recreios, from kizomba to afrobeat, as well as more traditional music from Cape Verde.
This will certainly be a night with a lot of rhythm, a lot of celebration and joy which, according to the artist, is not just his, but also that of those who have always supported him and the public who have followed him for several years and asked him for a concert in this format.
Desired by many of his Portuguese fans or those who are currently here, the performance on October 20th will be attended by renowned artists in African culture, who represent it internationally, but who have a personal touch for Loony Johnson because they supported him during his career. They are, among others: Nelson Freitas, Zeca Di Nha Reinalda, Elida Almeida, Kaysha, Djodje, Danni Gato, Tó Semedo, Ricky Man, Vado Más Ki Ás, Dynamo and the Portuguese Nuno Ribeiro, with whom he has the theme “Não Devia” which airplays on the main national radio stations.
