Multi-platinum-selling artist Loreen has just released her new single, “Echoes,” marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter in her artistic journey.
Co-written and produced by acclaimed Palestinian-Swedish producer Rami Yacoub (Charli XCX, Lady Gaga, Madonna), “Echoes” begins as an intimate piano ballad before morphing into a cinematic pop production, reflecting the emotional intensity that has made Loreen such a unique artist.
“This song is about soul connections, the kind of bond that doesn’t need space or time to exist. We are all echoes of each other in some way, and when we truly see each other, we collide, no matter the distance,” explains Loreen.
With a sweeping chorus — “We’re just like echoes, we’re just like stars in the night / We could be light years apart, but we will always collide” — the song is a powerful meditation on unity, vulnerability and cosmic love, showcasing Loreen’s ability to bridge the intimate with the universal, continuing her tradition of creating transcendent pop music.
The release follows a string of acclaimed singles, including the anthemic “Euphoria” (a cultural milestone), the global hit “Tattoo” (#1 in over 10 countries) and the recent “Is It Love,” “Forever,” “Gravity” and “Warning Signs,” which explore the power of love, vulnerability and cosmic connection. Together, these tracks have amassed billions of streams, cementing Loreen as one of the most captivating and spiritually resonant voices in modern pop music.
In parallel, Loreen recently launched the collaborative project SAGES with award-winning Icelandic composer and producer Ólafur Arnalds. A deeply personal and intuitive work, SAGES blends cinematic soundscapes with Loreen’s emotional voice, exploring transformation, vulnerability and creative liberation. The two artists’ spontaneous collaboration is accompanied by a short film inspired by the surreal story of the Dancing Plague in Strasbourg, reinforcing Loreen’s talent not only as a singer but as a visionary storyteller.
Loreen’s “Echoes” is now available on all platforms.
