Luca Argel sings with Marcelo Camelo and Samuel Úria to reflect on the Contemporary Man

Luca Argel returns this Friday, October 24th, with the release of O Vencedor / Lenço Enxuto, an EP that bridges his personal and creative journey with the themes that have shaped his artistic reflection in recent months.

This EP shares the same thematic universe as the new album of new songs (scheduled for release in January 2026): male identity, body, and affection.

The EP includes two intimate versions of songs that have spanned Luca Argel’s artistic and personal journey: “O Vencedor”, by Marcelo Camelo (Los Hermanos), and “Lenço Enxuto”, by Samuel Úria. Two voices, two countries, two eras—and a single theme: male vulnerability.

“Los Hermanos was the band of my youth,” confesses Luca. “I was one of those fans who knew how to sing every song, without realizing I was receiving my first musical training for the artist I could become.” Choosing “O Vencedor” as the first track on this EP comes as a gesture of giving back and gratitude. It’s a song that accompanied Luca at the beginning of his journey and now returns, rethought in light of his artistic maturity, as a symbolic starting point for a new creative cycle.

The second track, “Lenço Enxuto,” is born from Luca Argel’s experience in Portugal and his admiration for one of the most unique names in contemporary Portuguese music. “Samuel Úria is one of the composers I admire most. I’ve had the privilege of sharing the stage with him, and this song is often the highlight of his shows. I’ve received requests to record it more than once, from friends and fans who think it suits my voice.”

The result is an EP that, although composed of covers, is deeply aligned with Luca Argel’s own creative universe. Both songs hint at the central themes of the new album and serve as an emotional warm-up for what’s to come.

“Vencedor” / “Lenço Enxuto” is also a tribute to two musical cultures—Brazilian and Portuguese—and to the artists who influenced Luca Argel’s career as a performer, composer, and songwriter.

The EP “Vencedor” / “Lenço Enxuto” will be available on digital platforms starting Friday, October 24th.
