Ludmilla, Natiruts and Gipsy Kings will liven up Fair of São Mateus de Viseu

Ludmilla, Natiruts and Gipsy Kings are the first known names of the poster of the Fair of São Mateus de Viseu, which will be held from August 8 to September 15, with a reinforcement in the international bet.

The manager of the fair and councillor of Culture in the Chamber of Viseu, Jorge Sobrado, said today that the 2019 edition “will be the most international ever”, within the scope of “a programming strategy that seeks to associate innovation, diversity and great attractiveness” of audiences.

“[The issue of] 2019 marks a process of affirmation of the poster of the fair with a more international lung. And it is also a bet on a more charismatic and more irreverent poster,” he stressed.

According to Jorge Sobrado, funk singer Ludmilla, “one of the great phenomena of popularity,” will take to the stage on August 16, animating the venue with themes such as “I Arrived” and “Din Din Din.”

The Brazilian reggae band Natiruts will perform on August 24th, at an exclusive concert in the Central region, during which “great themes very cherished by the Portuguese public” such as “Liberdade P’ra Dentro da Cabeça”, “Sorri, Sou Rei “and” Andei Só “, he said.

On the last Saturday of the fair (September 14), the “legendary and charismatic Gipsy Kings”, with “the great intergenerational classics” of Spanish flamenco, such as “Djobi Djoba”, “Bamboleo” and “Volare”, appear on the stage.
