Luís Capitão publishes Vida Dupla and presents “Casa Incerteza”

Luís Capitão’s debut album, Vida Dupla, released on May 17th, has a new single, “Casa Incerteza”.

They say water doesn’t mix with olive oil. And it’s true. The same does not happen with fado and rap. “Casa Incerteza” appears as a creation of something new: the mix of verses by Bruno Sena, a sadino rapper specializing in improvisation, with the guitar singing of Luís Capitão accompanied by Leonardo Pisco in this adventure. Could this be a premonition of a new style? Typical neo, fast-paced and with its energy?

Honouring Dona Amália’s estate in the lyrics with a current message, here is the single produced and designed by Capitão with a video clip directed by Cross Eye. “Casa Incerteza” does justice to the work that has been presented, mixing several ingredients and reaching new recipes, in the various flavours presented in the themes of this long film.

Vida Dupla is Luís Capitão’s first full-length film at the helm of the Portuguese Guitar sweetened by Leonardo Pisco’s viola.

Vida Dupla, the worldly duality in which many authors live. Between family and work life, many artists delve into their private universe to create their work.

There are 7 themes like the 7 seas of this world, from rap to fado and exotic instrumentals different from the aesthetics associated with the Portuguese guitar. Experimenting with travel, taking risks to make people dance, and shocking to please, Luís Capitão and Leonardo Pisco use tradition as a vehicle for the energy of this set of songs.

With a stint on Got Talent 2024, reaching the semi-finals, many live performances, collaborations and 2 years of arduous training to master the technique of this complex instrument, Luís Capitão appears with this more mature and curated proposal.

Luís Capitão, always accompanied by Leonardo Pisco, intends to head to all corners of this country planted by the sea. The next confirmed concerts are: June 8th in Reguengos de Monsaraz, July 18th at Trombone Jazz in Foz do Arelho, July 24th in Portimão and July 25th at Castelo de Silves.
