Luísa Sobral and Salvador Sobral will team up once again on stage. The show, previously scheduled for January, takes place on the 24th of November at Teatro Tivoli BBVA, in Lisbon, at 9 pm.
They share the nickname and elegance in composition and interpretation. Now they will also share the stage. Luísa and Salvador Sobral will be performing together on the 24th of November, at 9 pm, at Teatro Tivoli BBVA, in Lisbon. The concert will bring the two brothers together in a true journey through time that will give a deeper insight into their musical and fraternal life. The alignment will be a revisit of the songs they sang as a child and that marked their growth.
Luísa and Salvador Sobral are today considered two of the most important singer-songwriters of the new generation of Portuguese musicians. Together they starred in one of the most memorable episodes in the history of Portuguese music, with the victory at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2017. Since then, in addition to their respective solo careers, they have nurtured the idea of creating a show that would explore their fraternal connection through music, in a unique moment of sharing between brothers. Thus, he won a set of concerts for two, which in December 2020 sold out two nights at the Teatro Sá da Bandeira (Porto) and in January 2021 at the Teatro Tivoli BBVA (Lisbon).
“Our voices were for years the echo of each other. We’ve sung together since we can remember and our childhood was spent perfecting the art of harmonies and “gluing” the voices to the point of seeming as one. it was following its own musical path. We always knew that this day was coming, the day of our concert, but we wanted to do it when it made sense to us” reveal the artists.
