Luísa Sobral takes the stage of the Cine-Teatro Paraíso, in Tomar, this Friday, May 14th. The concert is part of the Festival Montepio Às Vezes o Amor program.
There are only a few days to go until Luísa Sobral’s next concert, which will take place next Friday, May 14, at 8:30 pm, at the Cine-Teatro Paraíso, in Tomar, a city that will debut this year at the Festival.
The concert will cross Luísa’s already extensive discography, since The Cherry on My Cake, debut album released in 2011, There’s A Flower In My Bedroom (2013), Lu-Pu-I-Pi-Sa-Pa (2014), Luísa (2016), to the most recent Rosa (2018), a delicate album based on an intimate record in which Luísa Sobral risks new territories in composition and arrangements. Maria do Mar, The Best Gift and Just a Kiss, will be some of the themes that can integrate the alignment of the show, where it is also promised to reveal some unpublished.
The concert is part of the Montepio Às Vezes o Amor Festival program, initially planned for February, but which due to the mandatory closure of theaters due to the pandemic, now concentrates its activity during the months of April and May, with the strong objective to give culture a voice and fight to stop the activity.
On the 22nd of May it will be the turn of the gardens of the Baldaya Palace, in Benfica, to receive Luísa Sobral for an intimate concert within the scope of the Festival Join the Jazz.
