in February, the 18th at Casa da Música and the 25th at Teatro Tivoli BBVA

The tour that celebrates the release of ‘DanSando’ (Dancing), Luísa Sobral’s new album, starts this week with concerts in Germany and Luxembourg. Porto and Lisbon are other confirmed dates.

DanSando‘, Luísa Sobral’s new album, has been well received: it was the best-selling Portuguese album in the week of its release and has received numerous positive reviews, which describe it as one of the musical highlights of the year.

The new work can now finally be heard live. The presentation tour begins this Thursday, the 25th, with a concert in Germany (Bad Homburg), leaving the following day for Luxembourg (Echternach), where Luísa will open the doors to the solo songs from the new album at the prestigious Echter’World Festival.

Soon, the Portuguese stages will also be able to hear the singer’s new songs: on the 10th of December it will be the turn of the Municipal Auditorium Carlos Paredes, in Vila Nova de Paiva to ‘dance to the sound of songs like ‘Gosto de Ti‘. In 2023, on the 28th of January, Luísa will perform at Cineteatro Municipal João Mota, in Sesimbra.

The official opening concerts in Porto and Lisbon are reserved for February: on the 18th Luísa takes the stage at Casa da Música and on the 25th she performs at the Teatro Tivoli BBVA, Lisbon.

Lightly exploring the lands of pop, ‘DanSando‘ is filled with eleven original themes guided by the need to sing about love. The thematic and poetic palette makes ‘DanSando’ an intimate and personal album, but also socially conscious and involved. It is this closeness that Luísa wants to bring to the new tour, in which she will be accompanied on stage by Manuel Rocha on guitar, António Quintino on bass and double bass and Carlos Miguel Antunes on drums.
