Luísa Sobral, one of the most important singer-songwriters of the new generation of Portuguese musicians, is back with ‘DanSando‘, the sixth album of originals to be released 11 years after its debut.
The new work, which will be released next October, was produced by the Brazilian multi-instrumentalist and winner of a Latin Grammy, Tó Brandileone, and presents a more pop aesthetic, with songs written and sung in Portuguese that pack daily life with sweetness. and enthusiasm. At the start of the month, ‘Gosto de Ti‘ will be the first of the eleven songs that make up the album to be unveiled by the artist.
Passionate about writing songs, Luísa Sobral has collaborated with artists such as Ana Moura, António Zambujo, Sara Correia, Mayra Andrade, among many others. It was also this passion that led her to create the podcast ‘O Avesso da Canção’, in which she talks with great names in Portuguese music about the art of songwriting.
It is to this love for words organized into phrases to which she gives voice, that Luísa pays tribute with ‘DanSando’ and, with it, counts on traveling the world, continuing the vast international experience she has and which has already taken her to stages in such different countries. such as Spain, France, Turkey, Israel, Australia, Germany, Switzerland, Luxembourg, USA, Morocco, South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Japan, Brazil, and Uruguay.
