Luiz Caracol is preparing to present his new album Ao vivo no Namouche. After Devagar (2013), Metade e Meia (2017) and the EP Só.tão (2020), the moment is coming when his fourth album will be revealed, recorded in the charismatic Lisbon studio.
Live at Namouche was born from his desire to have an album different from what he had already done until then, where he could put his most primary musical nature: playing on stage, in front of the public. In this new album, we can feel that particular energy that live music has, where all participants, musicians, technicians and audience, feel and breathe at the same time, in the same space, with the same energy. In this new work, Luiz Caracol unequivocally shows us the simplicity of his music, and makes each mix, each influence of an already solid and consistent journey, more evident.
Listening to Ao vivo no Namouche is like embarking on a kind of sonic journey into Luiz Caracol’s deepest experiences and influences, where the more intimate side of his music mixes with his more swinging side, and where flavors of the latitudes and longitudes of the places around wherever he went, they converge with the melodies, rhythms, stories and messages of his themes, in a singularity that we have known his music has for a long time.
