Luso beach soccer debut with 7-4 victory over Switzerland

The Portuguese beach soccer team debuted today in Group 1 of the finals of the European League with a 7-4 victory over Switzerland at the Beach Arena Lido di Alghero in Sardinia, Italy.

Léo Martins and Bê Martins ‘bisaram’, in a meeting in which Andrade, Bruno Novo and Jordan also scored, while the Swiss scored by Stankovic on two occasions, Ott and Hodel.

Portugal returns to play on Friday against Azerbaijan and on Saturday against Spain.

Only the first in each group advances to the final of the competition.
