After introducing herself to the world with “Look At Me Now”, LUZA returns with “Eros”, the second single from her new artistic phase. Available on all digital platforms, the song delves deeply into the conflict between feeling and reason, defying conventions and celebrating the freedom to love without guilt.
With lyrics by Iolanda and LUZA himself, and production by HitsMike, “Eros” is an intense reflection on personal discovery, the fight against social repression and the desire to live authentically. With lines like “if love has colour, why paint everything grey?”, LUZA invites us to question the imposed rules and follow our hearts, even when the world insists otherwise.
“This song is about courage — the courage to accept ourselves as we are, to love without fear, without filters, and to follow what we truly feel, even if it distances us from the expectations of others,” – the artist confesses.
“Eros” reinforces LUZA’s artistic identity, marked by a message of empowerment and individual freedom. With an emotional and intense pop sound, the new single paves the way for the artist’s debut EP, scheduled for release this year.
Who is LUZA?
LUZA is the evolution of Diogo Almeida, a singer and performer who began his musical career at the age of 9. Graduated in Performing Arts, he worked on musical theatre projects while developing his musical career.
With songs released since 2018 in his previous project, he now emerges as a freer and more authentic extension of the artist: “LUZA is not an alter ego or a mask to hide behind. It is what Diogo was never able to be because of his preconceptions and insecurities. LUZA is fearless, does not limit himself. He does what he feels and lives his truth,” the artist confides.
With a bold aesthetic, which includes extravagant makeup and clothing, LUZA reflects her artistic essence and her vision free from prejudice, offering a musical and visual experience.
