More than three thousand and five hundred sardines received
In this 14th edition of the creativity competition promoted by EGEAC, which took place between February 6th and March 5th, we received thousands of proposals that lived up to the motto launched this year: scratch and risk! and it was in 1823 when the authors took the risk…
3582 proposals were submitted (2587 Portuguese and 995 foreign). 315 more sardines, compared to last year, all of them created by foreign participants.
The competition once again captured the imagination all over the world (63 countries), having won over authors of all ages and from all four corners of the globe, with sardines coming from countries such as Ecuador, Ukraine, Nepal, Senegal and Australia.
Annually, the competition challenges people of all ages, professionals or amateurs, to test their imagination in creating original sardines, rewarding the 5 best proposals with a prize worth €1500 (one thousand and five hundred euros).
Once the application phase has closed, proposals will now be assessed and evaluated according to the criteria set out in the competition regulations. And of the more than three thousand and five hundred sardines, only 5 will be awarded.
This year’s big winners will be announced by May 31st.
