The Portuguese super canoeist wins another medal in the European Canoeing Championship, now bronze in K1 5000.
The canoeist Fernando Pimenta will bring another medal to Portugal, for his third place in the K1 5000 competition at the Canoeing European Championships, taking place in Poland.
With a time of 20.45,277 minutes, Fernando Pimenta won the bronze, with the gold for the Belarusian Aleh Yurenia and the silver for the Hungarian Balint Noe.
This was a race that was hampered by a mistake by the judges who didn’t signal the entry for the last lap, so the athletes weren’t sprinting to the finish line but trying to gain position.
Fernando Pimenta won in this competition his 104th international medal and got the fourth medal for Portugal, in these European championships.
