It was at Campo Pequeno, in Lisbon, that Mallu Magalhães presented his most recent album, “Esperança”, released in June 2021.
Mallu says it’s a very special night, he’s very happy, he says he doesn’t talk much between songs, because he gets very emotional, but he says he’s very happy to be on stage, singing to an audience where there are many “friends“. In the audience attending the concert is the singer’s daughter, Luísa, to whom she will dedicate, in a tender moment, the theme “Deixa a Menina”.
This new work, released in June 2021, also includes themes such as “Fases da Lua”, “Pé de Elefante”, “Barcelona”, “As Coisas”, “Cena de Cinema”, “I’m Ok”, “Quero, Quero”, “Enjoy de Ride” and “América Latina”.
Mallu Magalhães made a ‘visit’ for his older songs, starting with “Sambinha Bom” and “Casa Pronta“.
The singer also took the opportunity to dedicate more intimate moments to her audience, just voice and guitar and voice and piano, with the themes “Montañas”, “Tchubaruba”, “Será que um Dia”, “Vai e Vem” and “Mais Ninguém” and one of his biggest hits “Velha e Louca”.
The Brazilian singer confesses that “when she started making music and composing, she had music as her company, as a friendship and felt that it was in those moments that she was happiest and that she was in contact with a beautiful thing worthy of sharing with someone and then she felt all this desire to share a beautiful feeling, it’s what moves her, it’s the love she feels when she sings”.
Mallu Magalhães is a Brazilian singer-songwriter who has already had a few years of career, her first album “Mallu Magalhães”, in 2008, followed by “Pitanga”, “Banda do Mar” and “Vem”.
