“Manobras” Festival – Puppets and Animated Forms returns to Baixa da Banheira

The International Puppetry and Animated Forms Festival returns to the town of Baixa da Bath in October. On the 24th and 31st, starting at 4:00 pm, the 4th edition of “Manobras”, promoted by ArtemRede, presents, at the José Manuel Figueiredo Cultural Forum, the shows “A Árvore Branca” and “Lições de Voo”.

“Once upon a time there was a green cloud, a white tree and a red village of astonishment. What a messed up landscape! Did the tree and the cloud change places? Let’s investigate… Inspired by the book “Trocatintas”, by illustrator Gonçalo Viana, “A Árvore Branca” is a show about untidy happiness and misaligned colors, to put the dots on the knots ”.

“Let’s fly! In a special place where everyone can experience the lightness of the body, the suspension and the thrill of taking off, “Lições de Voo” is an experience about the poetics of air, dreams and flight, with puppets that cross the airs of the stage in happy flights ”.
