Marathon of 60 concerts throughout the city of Porto to listen to in three days

From the 27th to the 31st of October, Porto will host the first Portuguese edition of WOMEX, an international meeting of the music industry. The fair, to be held at Alfândega, will be accompanied by conferences, documentaries and around 60 showcase concerts throughout the city.

Colombians Ghetto Kumbé, Brazilian Mateus Aleluia, Luso-Angolan Pongo, Spaniard Rodrigo Cuevas, Egyptian collective Mazaher, Congo performer Lova Lova and Portuguese O Gajo are some of the many names in the program.

The music will be divided into several stages: the Rivoli, São João and Sá da Bandeira theaters, the Coliseu, the Casa da Música, the Passos Manuel and even a tent set up in Praça de D. João I.

To attend the concerts, there are two types of passes for sale: one with a cost of 30 euros, which gives access to concerts in the Rivoli and São João theaters, and another at 35 euros, corresponding to the other spaces.

For the WOMEX – Worldwide Music Expo 2021, more than 260 artists from all over the world, 520 publishers and distributors, 400 governmental and educational institutions, 800 agents, more than 610 managers and 300 producers are expected in Porto, who will be joined by around 1250 companies from over 50 countries.
