Two more Porto residents already have the new card with them, which offers a series of advantages for using spaces in the city. Maria Cerqueira Gomes and Miguel Araújo are ambassadors for the Porto card and received it from the hands of the Mayor, Rui Moreira, in the City Hall.
The presenter and the musician join the more than seven thousand people who have already applied for the Porto card, benefiting from discounts and even free admission to various spaces in the city and access to municipal services.
Personalized, with photo, and, in the case of the new ambassadors, with a number chosen by themselves: the date of birth in one, the lucky number in the other, for a very personal experience with Porto.
All residents with tax domicile in the city, as well as students with a room, or rented house, who want to take advantage of the benefits, can apply for the card in two ways: on the cartao.porto.pt platform, where they must fill in the application form and upload the necessary documents; or in person at the Gabinete do Munícipe, in the municipal libraries of Porto, in the Municipal Theater of Porto – Rivoli and in the municipal swimming pools.
The Porto card is completely free and can be requested to be sent to the user’s address or to be picked up at one of the suggested municipal facilities.
