Starting on November 13th, the Stephens Theater hosts the sixth edition of a festival that survives by the great will of the municipality of Marinha Grande.
In Marinha Grande there will be four formations that represent the diversity of generations and sub-styles that currently exist in Portugal in the area of jazz.
The festival kicks off on November 13 with the quartet of saxophonist Ricardo Toscano, taking the trio “Círculo” to the stage of Teatro Stephens on the 14th, which joins Rita Maria’s voice to Luís Figueiredo’s piano and Mário Franco’s double bass.
Rui Caetano’s latest album, ‘Output’, is presented on November 20 and the project ‘Entre Paredes’, by Bernardo Moreira’s sextet, closes the festival on the 21st.
