After the album Girassóis e Tempestades was the best-selling national album in the week of release and after a year full of concerts, now it’s the turn of “Guerra Nuclear”, the single that featured Marisa Liz, to be highlighted at the 27th gala of the Golden Globes in the category of Best Music.
The Golden Globes have just revealed their list of nominees for the 27th Golden Globes gala, which will take place on October 1 at the Lisbon Coliseum.
In the category of Best Music is Marisa Liz with the theme “Guerra Nuclear”, a new song by António Variações and the first single by the solo artist that is part of her debut album Girassóis e Tempestades.
“Guerra Nuclear” was produced by musician Moullinex, with co-production by Marisa Liz.
In the theme, we can hear the voice of António Variações, taken from the original cassette recording.
The song is accompanied by a music video directed by João Maia, director of the biographical film Variações. The idea for the same was conceived by Marisa Liz, who wanted to demonstrate that she was just a messenger of the words of António Variações, building throughout the video clip a mural of phrases and words that culminate with the image of Variações.
In the music video, Marisa Liz also had the privilege of being able to wear a black beret by António Variações, as well as a pair of earrings kindly donated by the artist’s family.
“Guerra Nuclear” continues to be one of the most played songs on the radio and currently has close to 6 million streams on digital platforms, with the music video collecting almost 2 million of that total.
Marisa Liz is currently touring the country sharing her sunflowers and storms, a project that brings together the songs from her album Girassóis e Tempestades on a journey that already has more than 40 dates this year. She is preparing, at the same time, some news for fans to be announced in the last quarter of this year.
