Marisa Liz releases EP, Mensagens de Amor

The artist will be at the Lisbon Metropolitano in an action in which people can record their messages of love.
This Friday, January 26th, Marisa Liz’s long-awaited EP, Mensagens de Amor, arrives on all digital platforms. To celebrate the launch of these Mensagens de Amor (Messages of Love), this Friday, Marisa Liz will be at three Lisbon Metro stations between 8 am and 12 pm – in Alameda, Marquês de Pombal and São Sebastião. Here people will be able to record messages of love for those they love most, or even for themselves, and these messages will echo at concerts in the Coliseums and on the artist’s social networks.
Designed around the very special concerts she is preparing for the Coliseus, this EP Marisa Liz aims to pay homage to some of the songs from her life, as well as performers she greatly admires. The Messages of Love EP is made up of three versions and an original that talks about messages of love. “Not always about love for someone, but for us, about self-love, about love for others, about loves that don’t go well”, she says.
In addition to the well-known version of “Um Dia de Domingo”, a song originally performed by Gal Costa and Tim Maia, premiered with a live performance, alongside António Zambujo, on the stage of “The Voice Portugal”, which moved and dazzled the entire the audience, on this album Marisa Liz also gives her interpretation, her personal touch, to unmissable songs such as “Lately”, by Stevie Wonder, and “Asas”, by GNR.
On the album we also find an original theme, “Por Amor”, with music by Marisa Liz and Diogo Branco and lyrics by Pedro da Silva Martins, being a song about self-love.
Meanwhile, Marisa Liz has already sold out her concert at the Coliseu de Lisboa, on February 10th, and is also almost sold out at the Coliseu do Porto Ageas, on February 24th.
These two shows, called “Girassóis, Tempestades e Mensagens de Amor”, will surprise the audience on and off stage, as they will be involved in several unexpected moments and many messages of love. These will be two concerts that will certainly remain in the hearts of anyone who has the opportunity to experience them in person.
