The Theater and Puppets of Mandrágora takes the first steps towards the 2024 edition, which marks 18 years of this celebration of the art of Puppetry.
18 years of dedication, care, professionalism, and deep artistic commitment. Since 2006, the Theater and Puppets of Mandrágora, a professional theatre structure created in 2002, has been making efforts to hold this event.
A festival marked by its diversity in presenting shows, workshops, exhibitions, talks, performances, and many other ways to engage with this art, which has become a way of living and experiencing culture in the city.
To families, groups, and artists, the festival returns with a complete program full of activities for everyone.
The Municipality of Espinho and the Theater and Puppets of Mandrágora are pleased to invite you to the opening session of Mar~Marionetas – International Puppet Festival of Espinho, which will take place on October 11 (Friday) at 21:00 at the Multimeios Center of Espinho.
The Mar~Marionetas takes place annually in the coastal city of Espinho, a city with a great fishing tradition, with strong cultural activity, a city that stretches along the ocean, and is influenced by its relationship with the sea.
