Maroon 5 returns with new single, “Priceless” ft. Lisa

The American group is preparing a new album and a world tour for 2025

Multi-platinum and three-time GRAMMY winner Maroon 5 has teamed up with rapper, singer, dancer, actress and fashion icon Lisa – a member of the famous K-pop girl band Blackpink – to release the infectious new single “Priceless”, now available on digital platforms.

This song also marks the first time Maroon 5 has collaborated with a K-pop artist. In addition to the single release, the official music video for “Priceless” has also just been revealed. Directed by Aerin Moreno (Tate McRae, Tyla), the relaxed and elegant video was shot in downtown Los Angeles on 35mm film and visually references the film “Mr. & Mrs. Smith”.

Priceless” is a prelude to Maroon 5’s upcoming eighth studio album, details of which will be announced soon. The album sees the band returning to their roots with new songs, subtly expanding their sound.

Adam Levine said of the upcoming album and new single: “It’s just a guitar-based song, which is something we haven’t done in a long time. It first came about while we were recording the album. I think it’s as pure as it gets, and we’re really happy to have Lisa [from Blackpink] on it. The guitar intro is me playing an audio message on my iPhone with a guitar turned off. I got emotional recording it because it was like reconnecting with our roots – something a lot of fans have been asking for: ‘We want to hear that sound again.’ It’s been over 20 years, so I think it’s time for us to get back to that place.”

James Valentine added: “I was thrilled when Adam sent me the original demo for ‘Priceless’ because, to me, the sound harks back to the early days of Maroon 5. I joined the band in 2001. ‘Priceless’ gave me the same excitement I had when I saw them play in 2000, from the chords to the overall energy. I was excited, and it laid the foundation for the writing and sound of our next album.”

In addition to the new music, Maroon 5 is also set to announce a world tour. The US dates follow an extended residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM in Las Vegas, which has already totalled 40 shows.
