Singer and composer Marta Dias will soon present her new record work, entitled “Um Beijo para Amanhã“, composed of ten Portuguese-African and Brazilian inspired songs, united by the Portuguese language, which constitute an authentic summary of the crossings made throughout a career built from the investigation of the components of their African and Portuguese identity, which culminates in a perfect synthesis with the Brazilian tradition.
Marta Dias has a musical career that spans over two decades. Born in Lisbon, of Santomean, Goan and Portuguese ancestry, Marta Dias has come across, throughout her musical career, the various cultural influences that run in her blood. She collaborated with such disparate names as Ithaka and General D or Mestre António Chainho, with whom she also performed on national and international tours that culminated, as a synthesis of these years of concerts and travels, in an album in partnership with Mestre.
