Martinho da Vila returns to Portugal

Brazilian samba singer will perform in Lisbon and Porto, in May, to celebrate his 85 years to be completed in 2023.

Martinho da Vila is back in the country for concerts in Lisbon and Porto on the “85 years of much samba” tour with a lineup full of hits. The presentations will be on the 26th of May, at the Coliseu in Porto, and on the 27th, at the Coliseu dos Recreios, in Lisbon. Production is by YN MUSIC.

One of the most beloved Brazilian artists by the Portuguese public, Mr. Samba comes with a musical family that has been with him for some time: Wanderson Martins on cavaco, Claudio Jorge on guitar, Kiko Horta on keyboards, Ivan Machado on bass and Paulinho Black on drums, in addition to grandson Guido Ventapane on percussion and daughter Analimar on vocals.

Choosing to tour Portugal in such a special year strengthens the love story that Martinho da Vila lives with the country. In concerts, the artist will sing his greatest hits such as “Casa de Bamba”, “Devagar Devagarinho”, “Canta Canta, Minha Gente”, “Madalena do Jacu”, “Disritmia” and “O Pequeno Burguês”, among others.

Before Yellow Noises and now rebranded as YN MUSiC, the company promotes, since 2017, concerts in Portugal and was responsible for tours of Brazilian artists in Europe such as Zeca Pagodinho, Emicida, Maria Rita, Milton Nascimento, Paulinho da Viola, Ney Matogrosso and Creole, among others.
