Matay with an intimate concert at the Lusco Fusco Festival

The artist Matay returned to the stages with an intimate concert at the Lusco Fusco Festival, on the terrace of Capitólio

Last Sunday, June 27th, the second day of the Lusco Fusco Festival took place, an initiative by Sons Em Trânsito, which aims to celebrate hot summer nights to the sound of some of the greatest national artists, in a total of 10 concerts, over 5 weekends.

After the first night of the Festival with António Zambujo, it was Matay‘s turn to take the stage accompanied by the Soul Gospel Project choir with the theme “Perfeito“, a song with which he participated in the Festival da Canção 2019, followed by “Por Favor (Diz-me)“, his version of “Clima” by Dillaz and “Dizer Que Não“.

It was then that he called his first guest Mirza, a musician who crossed paths with Matay in the TVI All Together Now TV contest, to interpret the song “Não Chores Mais“, then invite Lewis CZM to sing the recent song “BYE BYE“.

We also heard “Confia“, “Voltar atrás” on stage with rapper Estraca, his version of “Stand by me” followed by “O Que Tu Dás“.

The Lusco Fusco Festival celebrates hot summer nights to the sound of some of the greatest national artists, respecting, of course, all the rules stipulated by the DGS for carrying out concerts in the current phase of the pandemic. This cycle of concerts at dusk takes place on the Capitólio terrace, in Lisbon, from June 26th to July 25th, where the shows always start at 8 pm.

You can also watch Gisela João, who performs on the 3rd of July, and for the first time, in Lisbon with the repertoire of her most recent album, Aurora. The next day, July 4th, it’s Tiago Nacarato, who takes the stage with the accent of Porto and Brazil in his music.

On Saturday, July 10th, it’s the turn of D.A.M.A, who present their latest show of the tour “Sozinhos à Chuva” and on the following day the unique voice of Elisa Rodrigues invites us on a journey between jazz and pop. On the following weekend, on Saturday, July 17th, AGIR, who recently edited the single “Prescrever” and is composing a new album, performs live. And on Sunday, July 18th, Irma presents the freshness of her debut album “Primavera”.

Carolina Deslandes, who edited the EP and short film Mulher at the end of 2020, will perform on the 24th of July and Rita Redshoes, who publishes a new album of originals in September, closes the cycle “Lusco Fusco” with a golden key to 25th of July.
