Matay is back with the theme “BYE BYE”, now available on Youtube and on all platforms.
Matay composed in partnership with his brother Lewis, a 21-year-old young man born and raised in Chelas, passionate about music and who finds himself in the most urban sounds, such as Hip Hop and the new vibe that echoes London, his comfort zone, together with the inspiration that you drink in the matrix, Africa.
The two brothers sing in “BYE BYE” the story of a love that did not work out and how the relationships built on a superficial way are fragile and can end as soon as they started. Matay tells us that “music is part of my life! I can say that I don’t know how to live any other way. Many times when I’m at my parents ‘house, I go into Lewis’ room to hear a little of the songs he is producing in his small laboratory and, between beats and ideas on paper, songs like this, which is now our BYE, are appearing BYE.”
It should be recalled that Matay, 31, has developed his musical career in parallel with that of a promoter within the scope of youth social insertion, at Santa Casa da Misericórdia in Lisbon.
